What's In Your Spirit? (The Three Minute Conversation)

As 2012 approached I kept trying to figure out what I would write my first blog of the year about. These days I work so hard to surround myself with impactful people who do extraordinary things that finding just one to focus on was becoming too difficult. So I thought I would just be still and wait for the perfect opener for 2012...and so I did. I had a three minute conversation with a friend this morning and unbeknown to her she spoke a word to me that resonated and motivated me to write my first blog of 2012. Here we go...I hope you enjoy.

"Your destiny is directly tied to your spirit" she says. At this point it doesn't matter where she heard it first it only matters that she repeated it for my ears to hear. It is all mine now...and now your's as well. :-) Let me be honest. Unfortunately I am a dreamer. I say unfortunately because realistic people hear me speak and think I'm nuts. Believe me that's totally fine with me. The crazier you think I am the more I know I am following the path that has been designed specifically and so perfectly for me. Let me stay focused! Anyway, I know that God wouldn't give me the spirit or put anything in my heart without giving me the means and gifts necessary to see it come to fruition. Yes, I am dreamer but more than that I am a believer. I believe in him, I believe in me, and I believe in you.  This goes beyond 2012, 2013, or even 2014 this is about what makes you happy, what makes you stronger, and what makes you, you.

I'm not going to write a long blog connecting a bunch of words together just to simply say sometimes we are searching and reaching for things that we already have been given. Take the time to trust that it's already yours. You just have to believe it, claim it, and own it.
